There has never been a better time to play golf. There are more great courses than ever and they are more accessible than ever, plus they’re cheaper than ever to play.

Lovely, juicy, shiny new equipment means that not only are the Pros hitting the ball out of site but literally anyone can hit the ball, quite frankly, an astonishing distance down the fairway.

Plus, our heightened understanding of the body and how it works means we can get any golfer, novice to expert, to improve their technique in no time at all.

Advances in technology means that we can now simulate playing a round of golf, at any course you like, without even having to go out in the cold, without getting wet, without even having to do any walking! Visit our premises in Theale and you can do just that!

ONLINE LESSONS

There was a time when unless you were a member of a private Club and could visit your resident Golf Pro, trying to get some solid advice on your swing was near on impossible.
This is no longer the case.

Use your smart phone or tablet to film a couple of short simple videos of your Golf Swing and send them into ShowMeYourSwing via email. We’ll then analyse what you’re up to and send you back some simple, solid, educated advice. The level of advice you wish to receive is up to you, just choose from our different packages.

You can film yourself just about anywhere and anytime. Once you receive your game changing advice, you can digest it in your own time, refer back to it at anytime and put it into practise whenever you feel ready.

Our in depth Custom Fitting service will be analysed and reviewed by a PGA Professional with decades of experience rather than an automated response from a computer program. This means you get the very best advice on equipment from an expert viewing you as an individual.

The ShowMeYourSwing site also offers you a weekly blog of golf related news, updates and topics and is also your port of call for Custom Fitting.

Of course, if you would like a one to one lesson in person, book an appointment to come and see us at our premises in Theale, 60 seconds from junction 12 of the M4. Hit into our state of the art simulator and take advantage of our video analysis and expert tuition.

If you would prefer to just play a round, maybe at Pebble Beach for example, then just book up, bring along some friends and do just that.

Here at ShowMeYourSwing we’re here to help your Golf but more importantly than anything else, play golf to have fun.

ShowMeYourSwing Video Instructions

DTL – Down The Line

“DTL” means that the camera is viewing the golfer looking “down the line” of the shot being played.

Ideally the camera is positioned looking down the line of the toes of the golfer, rather than down the line of the golf ball.

Instructions;

Position the camera at the height of the hips and  so it is looking down the line of the toes, towards the target in the distance.

Frame the clip so that the feet and the ball are visible at the bottom and the players hands are in the centre, allowing enough room above the head to capture the club as it swings.

Please edit your video so it is no longer than necessary.

Robert Walton Biography

Having started golf at a young age I managed to reach a scratch handicap by the age of 15. I represented England as an Amateur and took up a scholarship in the US at the University of Nevada, Reno. I played number one in my University Team and qualified for the NCAA Finals as an individual, one of only 6 players in the Country. I then turned Professional and gained my Canadian Tour Card having finished 4th at the Tour School, age 22. I competed on the Tour for several years achieving many top 10 finishes. Having left life on Tour I trained as a PGA Professional and became fully qualified in 2001. In 2007 I became a Head Professional and in 2010 was promoted to Director of Golf.
My passion has always been coaching. Even in College I spent more time on the range helping my teammates than working on my own game. I have spent 35 years studying the Golf Swing and the Game of Golf. Enjoying all sports and fitness my approach to the Golf Swing is based on the simple fundamentals of Athleticism. Understanding that the basics are literally all that counts. Fundamentals such as Posture, Balance and an Efficient use of the Body is the key to a successful Golf Swing. My instruction is always simple and it is always backed up with a clear explanation of WHY my advice will help you to progress.
